When I was doing the photos for Lens-Artists Challenge the other day, I couldn’t stop. I ended up going through folders and found some, and I also took some others. I might like minimalism and have considered exploring it more, even before this challenge.
I have some ideas of what I want to try, but for the time being will keep them to myself.
I’ve shown the pears before, but never in black and white, and I thought it might be fun to convert them. The cups and saucers are kind of new.
The first one I got at a Titanic exhibition a couple of years ago. It is supposed to be a copy of a White Star Line cup and saucer. Is it? I have no idea. I always knew that if I could have anything from the Titanic, it would be a cup and saucer, and this is probably the closest I will ever get.
The other cup and saucer is Noritake from Japan, though not made there. These are the same ones that they have at the Windsor for High Tea, and I really liked them. I joked with a friend that she should buy me one so my husband wouldn’t kill me for buying more. She surprised me by getting it for my birthday, great friend.
I hope you enjoy these extras.
