The following image I took and processed back in 2018 when I spent a lovely day along the coast with someone I met through my blog.
One of our first stops was the lighthouse at Point Lonsdale.
I have photographed this lighthouse many times over the years and this is one of many photos I have for it.
I don’t know about the colours in this. I like the composition, so I thought about trying to do it again.
I did use ON1 Photo RAW 2026 to do this. I didn’t do a lot, and if I’m hones,t I don’t remember a lot about what I did. I did try to bring out the lighthouse and jetty more. I added a LUTs for some colour. I like the smoky effect.
When I put it on here, I didn’t like how the lighthouse and jetty blended in with the colours. So I decided I had to lighten them up more.
I brightened it up, and then I added a different LUTs Effects. I like the tones and colours in this one.
So the same image with three different looks. I think I like the last one, but I also like the smoky look of the second. I can’t decide which one I like more.

Beautiful!
Thank you Pamela.
Awesome! I am bias toward lighthouse.
I don’t think you are alone there, thank you Ziggy.
I like the first and last edits Leanne
Thank you Brian, good to know.
The smoky element is attractive but I like the last photo best because the lighthouse and jetty are more visible.
I felt the same way Lynette, thank you.
I vote for the last one!!
I like that one too I think, thanks Anne.
