Catching up amidst the chaos

It has been crazy around here, it never rains, but it pours, or whatever the saying is. I’m expecting deliveries of things for me, things to review, things to teach and things to try out. It is going to be a busy couple of weeks.

Dynamic Range Magazine

It is still for sale, and if you want to buy it then you can from the Shop page.

I have started shutting everything down with it now, the Instagram page is gone and soon, so will the Facebook page. I know I’ve spoken about this before, but it is very hard to keep something going when you only sell 10 or so copies of each one. I guess I was so enthused at the start because so many people said they thought it was a fantastic idea. I took that to mean they would buy it, but I guess they meant it was a good idea, but they weren’t interested in it. It is something I am going to need to be more careful about in the future. People are very good at offering an opinion, but that doesn’t translate into sales.

Digital Photography School

I have had another article published.

Review of the New Formatt Hitech Firecrest Filter Holder and Neutral Density Filters

Click the title and it will take you to the article.

Learning Long Exposure Photography

I now have all the gear to teach people how to do long exposure photography. My students won’t have to worry about getting the gear first as I will have everything they need to do it.

I’m offering the classes, 2 hours for $200. Email me on if you would like to learn long exposure photography.

I was asked recently if I still offer this, and the simple is yes. If you are interested take a look at the Mentoring page, I’ve added a lot of new options.

Don’t forget mentoring is a great thing to do for people who want to learn their own style and talk with an artist on how to approach their work.

I have some photos that I have had up on Instagram in the last couple of weeks, I hope you enjoy them.

  1. Sounds like you have a lot of wonderful things going on. I really admire how you try things out even though they may not work!! I love that image at the top – it’s beautifully exposed and unique

    1. Yes, some things Nora, others not so much, but I keep trying. I keep trying things hoping something will work, so far I think I’m zero for zero, but you just never know. Though I am starting to notice I’m not as keen to start new things as I once was. Thank you so much Nora.
