Christmases Past – Merry Christmas

This is my last post before Christmas. I hope you have enjoyed this look back at Christmases Past.

I don’t really know what year these were taken, I think around 2014 or 2015.

I am going to take the rest of the year off and will be back 2023. I might do a quick post before then, but only if I have time.

For now, I would like to wish those of you who celebrate a

Merry Christmasย

For those that don’t, I hope you enjoy the holidays and that you get some time off.

See you all in 2023.

  1. Merry Christmas and a Happy new Year to you. You certainly decorate your buildings amazingly in Australia. A lovely set of festive photographs.

  2. Wow! I had no idea. “Dashing through the snow” in 35ยฐ heat. ๐Ÿคฃ Thanks again and Merry Christmas to you and your family.

    1. I think the idea of dashing through the snow in 35 degree heat makes us feel cooler, it helps. lol. Merry Christmas to you too Tim.

    2. These are great!! You have got to post them. They are hilarious! ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ Thanks and have a wonderful Christmas.

    3. That’s great Tim, I have scheduled it. I hope others like them too. YOu have a wonderful Christmas too. Will it be white?

    4. Yes. Probably no new snow on Christmas, but we have a few inches here. Just shoveled again this morning. I sure had some good laughs with the Australian carols. “Dashing through the bush in a rusty olden ute…”๐Ÿคฃ

    5. I hope the snow is still around for Christmas, it seems so much more magical if there is snow. As you can see from the videos not much chance of it here. I am glad you found them funny. Not always sure if other countries will get our humour, we do like to take the mickey out of everything. ๐Ÿ˜‚

    6. I actually found some more serious Australian carols in a search today. But those 3 were a total hoot. I need to play the Jingle Bells for my granddaughter; she will love it.

    1. I have a Christmas related question for you as you live in the land down under.

So here in the states many of our Christmas carols are winter themed – lots of stuff about snow, etc. Do you all have the same carols, or are there summer themed ones in Australia?

    2. Interesting questions, but no we don’t have different ones, we sing the same ones as we are boiling in the heat. lol
