Today I have some flowers that I have taken in the garden recently. Some are blooms, some are new, and some are waiting to flower.
The first one is one of my favourite flowers, and I look forward to it flowering every year. It is from a bulb, and I think next autumn I might dig it up, separate them, and spread them to other parts of the garden.
The second one has been in my garden for a while now. I never planted it, but it has made itself at home there.
The last one I planted in autumn earlier this year, so new to the garden and I think a welcome addition.
It is officially spring now, so I am looking forward to getting out there to take more photos. I just need the wind to stop.
Has been very gusty winds here in the western suburbs too, Leanne. A couple of mornings it was quiet when I woke up, but changed again within an hour or so.
I’m wondering if Melbourne (and suburbs) will ever be wind-free ever again. I’ll bet trees have blown over too.
It has been here too Vicki, I’m over near Eltham and we have been copping it here. I am a bit over it. We haven’t had any quiet mornings, make it very hard to get out into the garden to do some macro photography.
I’m wondering that too, and I did take a look at the long cast forecast and it seems Melbourne can start expecting a lot less rain, I don’t like hearing that.
These are beauties, Leanne. Happy Spring!
Thank you Jane, it is nice to see the flowers again.
So lovely! The first flower looks like a Gazania I have in my backyard.
Thank you Sheri, yes, I believe that is what they are. I planted a few, hopefully get some different colours.

Nothing like a surprise flower.
Thank you, I agree, especially when it is a nice one.
