While my dahlias are going well there are new flowers in the garden and I thought I would share them with you today for Floral Friday. Two are new and one is just reflowering.
The one that is reflowering is the Angel Trumpet tree. I love those flowers. They are so beautiful. I got this one from Alowyn Gardens a couple of years ago. It was flowering in December but when we were hit with all the heat it almost died and the flowers were wrecked on it. Nice to see it flowering now.
The white one, well I’m not sure what it is. I think it might be a dahlia of some sort. It was planted in the garden a couple of years ago and grows well, but I had almost given up that it might ever flower. So happy to see lots of buds on it and this is the first flower. Fingers crossed that we don’t get any really bad weather to stop it from flowering more.
The last one, my belladonna is flowering for the first time. I was a bit shocked to see that it was about to. They are very expensive bulbs to buy, but I really wanted them in my garden. I have planted two, but will see if the other does the same. I can see something growing out of it, but I don’t know if it just leaves or a flower.
It is nice to see lots of new flowers. I must be doing something. Enjoy your Friday.
