Each day when I go out into my garden, it seems new things are flowering and new growth is coming out of the ground. It is a tense time as I wait to see what survived the winter and what I have lost.
When you open the side gate, you are blasted by the aroma of the daphne that is now flowering. I love the smell of those flowers, and I have bought more so you can smell them in other parts of the garden as well.
The bulbs have sprung and the snowbells have started flowering and I did have a couple of earlier jonquils, but no more. Hopefully more soon. The hellebores are flowering, though I don’t have many flowers from them and I think I need to do more to help them. I have to replant some of them.
I’m really looking forward to spring and the flowers I will be able to photograph. I hope you look forward to it as well. I know that me looking forward to spring in the southern hemisphere is not great for those on the other side of the equator, but you will have autumn to look forward to I hope.
very beautifull 👌
Thank you.
Beautiful flower shots Leanne 🙂 I always smile to see posts from friends ‘down-under’, with your seasons opposite to ours!
Thank you Sarah, that is nice to hear, I hope you will still enjoy them when you are in winter and it is summer here.
Just beautiful, Leanne. Funny to think you are heading toward spring as we head into fall 🙂
Yeah, it is a strange world we live in Jean, thank you.
Your daphne flowers are beautiful, Leanne. All of them are pretty but especially the daphne.
