Monochrome Madness #48 – Leaves and or petals

Dawn from The Day After is leading us this week in the theme for Monochrome Madness and the theme is LEAVES AND OR PETALS. I don’t know about other parts of the world, but this is a good theme for here right now. We have leaves and petals galore.

I did something a little bit different for this post, as I took all the photos just for it. I’ve been out in my garden with my camera and tripod. I was struggling with the wind for quite a few, one you can definitely tell. It wasn’t an easy task, but I quite liked the results.

I tried to get as close as possible to the leaves as I could for this. I had ideas of what I wanted to get, but I’m not absolutely sure I achieved them. I think they worked out well for the theme, but I might have to have another go at some stage.

Here is a gallery with my attempts at the theme. All of mine are leaves, as I thought that would be more interesting to me, as I photograph flowers, or petals, a lot more often. They are all from my garden as well.

Thank you Dawn for being out host this week. It was a great theme, I loved it. Please go and take a look at her post.

  1. These are great Leanne! I especially like the ones with raindrops, and the one affected by the wind actually looks great – I would have taken it as deliberate ICM 😆

    1. Thank you Sarah, the waterdrops were lucky. The one with the wind is two blurry images put together. I really liked how it worked too.
