Monochrome Madness – Early morning in the city

Monochrome Madness - Early morning in the city

The seasons are changing and I’m getting excited to get outside again, so today I went back into my archives for Monochrome Madness for this image from an early morning in the city.

I had been thinking about heading back into the city to take photos, but with the whole coronavirus thing happening, I’m thinking I might stay away for the time being. We have been told to avoid public transport if we can, so another good reason not to go in.

Doing the food and still life photography over the summer was fantastic and it is something I want to continue doing going forward. There is a plan to do a post on all that soon. It is something I have loved doing, still not good at it, but there you are.

For today I found this image taken last year early one morning at sunrise. I had done it previously in colour but thought I would try it in monochrome to see how it would go. Of course, you still have to do more processing, but not a lot.

Joining in

It would be great if you would like to participate, especially if you enjoy the monochrome images. If you want to contribute there is a Facebook groupTPM Photos which you can join and share your images. Of course, if you are blogging no reason why you can’t post your own. I like this challenge and it is nice to be thinking in monochrome again.
