Another free week and I’m making this a quick post. I thought it would be nice to post some photos from past trips along the Victorian coastline.
Most were taken around Anglesea.
Next week is our last theme for the year and our host for Monochrome Madness #50 is Margaret from From Pyrenees to Pennines. She has chosen the theme The 12 Days of Christmas. That is going to be a hard one I think.
Participating in Monochrome Madness
If you would like to participate in this challenge, please post photos on your blog and use the tag Monochrome-Madness, then we can all use the reader to see what you post.
You can also leave a pingback, do they still call them that? Basically, you put a link to the host’s monochrome madness post in your post, and it leaves a link in the comment section.
Don’t forget to check out the Monochrome Madness page. On this page, the next theme is announced and there is also all the information for participating. Please go and check it out. Click on the Monochrome Madness heading in the menu.

Thank you so much.
I like the bottom left photo with the b & w contrasts.
That’s great, thank you.

Oh, but it looks so cold in black and white. Leanne! Wishing you all the joy of the season xx
I don’t know that it was cold, but I think it was taken in winter, so maybe it really was, though monochrome is great for creating mood. Thank you Jo.
Coastal trees have some of the best shapes that translate well into monochrome. A lovely gallery Leanne
I have to agree, I guess it is because of the wind. Thank you Brian.
Lovely wild untamed scenery.
It is a great place for photography. Thank you Margaret.
Very nice!
Here is my free theme today: https://picturesimperfectblog.com/2025/12/16/entrances-at-night/
Thank you Elke.
My pleasure.
😊😊
Are those cliffs made of sand?
I don’t think they are made of sand, but maybe sandstone, is that the same thing? I don’t know.
IDK either.
LOL, I suppose I could look it up, yep sandstone and siltstone, so they erode easily.
These are lovely, the movement of the water and the tree branches. Got to love them 😍
Thank you Ritva.
You seem to have an endless bag of great shots…
I have 1000s and 1000s of photos Ted, so I have a lot to go back to. Thank you Ted.
