Beth from Wandering Dawgs is challenging us to feature anything with WINGS. Today I am presenting you with Nature’s Angels, butterflies. I hope you enjoy them.
All the photos were taken at the butterfly house at Melbourne Zoo.

Thank you Steve, the butterfly house really helps.
Beautiful butterfly shots Leanne! I do like a good butterfly house, it does make it a bit easier to get the photos you want ๐
Thank you Sarah, they are really cool place to see them and take photos.
So many beautiful butterflies and so well photographed
Thank you Ritva.
One of my favorite places in a botanical garden is the buttefly enclosure. I delete far too many images when trying to capture a butterfly in flight. >grin<
They can be tricky buggers to photograph, they like to move a lot. Thank you John.

(you beat me to it in that I was just making a new folder of Melbourne Zoo’s butterfly house yesterday. Rather than double up, I might change to birds for this challenge).
Thank you Vicki, you should still do them if you want. We are all doubling up.

Thank you Beth.
How interesting! A butterfly house is a wonderful idea and of course you’ve captured them beautifully. I once took my granddaughter to a butterfly indoor exhibit in NYC. The butterflies there would land right on your hand if you offered it. It was actually quite magical and is a very fond memory.
Thank you Tina. The butterfly house is like that, very humid and the butterflies land on hats, shoulders, hands etc.
The most beautiful collection, Leanne. Some of them I’ve never seen before.
Thank you Sofia, I think many are tropical, I don’t really know.
These are lovely, Leanne.
Thank you Jean.
