Not daylight hours – Cityscapes continuing

I think I could just about post photos of a cityscape everyday if I tried. I won’t, but you know what I’m talking about.

I thought it might be nice to look at some photos that were taken before or after the sun sets. I love night photography and you can get some incredible images. I’ve learned a lot over the years about how to get a good night image and really like what I can get now.

I know a lot of people think some of my iconic images are night ones, but most of the time they aren’t. I just like to play around and make an image that was taken during the day and make it look like it was photographed at night.

However, all of these were actually taken early in the morning before the sun came up or after it went down. Another thing I should admit these are all from the same year. It must have a year where I took lots of night images.

I hope you enjoy them.

    1. Thank you Tossy.
That is a very big question, not sure I can answer it here. I am planning on doing some blog posts on how I do some things. If they will help.

    1. You’re welcome! That would be helpful because night time photography is difficult to do, and when you take pictures of people in the evening, the contrast is too severe that makes the photo look unnatural. I love the sun for pictures!

    2. Okay, leave it with me and I will see what I can come up. I don’t photograph people, so I can’t help with that, but doing cityscapes and such I can help with.

    2. Thanks very much, Leanne! πŸ˜ŠπŸ™πŸ» you have mentioned the programs you have used, I find Photoshop too busy and confusing. I enjoy photography so much!

    1. The one with different colours, it is a weird building, normally the lights on it are just blue, but when it gets hot the lights change according to the heat. I don’t know if it still does that, I did hear they changed it. Thenk you Lois.
