Silent Sunday – Standing the test of time

Photos taken back in 2016. Wondering if they have stood the test of time and if I still like them. Or if you still like them.

Enjoy your Sunday.

  1. Fantastic shots. Love those reflections off the water. The city is a great place at night, I think you captured the beauty of it perfectly.

    1. Yeah it does, I think it is the river itself which is changing. They are allowing businesses to put stuff in the river, I am disappointed at that. Some of them have ruined my favourite views. Flinder Street Station is a massive one, you know it is Melbourne when you see it. Thank you.

    2. I hate them, wouldn’t be so bad if they were interesting, but most of them are so ugly. Seems nothing is out of bands when it comes to the City of Melbourne renting space, seems you can buy the river too.

  2. oh yes, I do love these photos. Especially the night time city scapes! I love reflections…any kind, especially the land/water reflections. I absolutely love lighted cities, even the ones that aren’t spectacular but show a lot of lit windows and street lights.

    1. I love them too Pat, these are especially special for me because you don’t get the river that still very often, or I don’t get to see it. Thank you Pat.

    1. Not so much the skyline, but the river is being crowded with businesses, boats, floating bars, that sort of thing. It is sad really. They did a heap of work to make the river attractive and now they are filling it with crap.

  3. I seem to remember these photos, Leanne, and I still like them. Very colorful and beautiful. ❤️

    1. You’re very welcome, Leanne…not on the blogs much lately. Haven’t been hiking or traveling in over a year, so not much to share on here. Nice to see you staying busy on the blog, though. 🙂

    2. I know what you mean, I haven’t blogged much over the last few years, but I am trying to get back into it now. I have been trying to get out to take photos as well. It is nice to be sharing images again. Thanks Seekraz
