The place is very beautiful, great photos, Leanne! 🇦🇺
Thank you so much John, built with gold rush money.
It certainly is grand
Yes, very grand, we are kind of lucky though not sure it should be for politicians. lol. Thank you Brian.
👍😂
I love the shot from the stair case
That’s wonderful, thank you.
What a beautiful place!
It is the type of building that gets built when the state is swimming in money from something like a gold rush, so they went very grand. Thank you Egidio.
Very interesting and grand. The images with the ductwork or giant pipes running along the ceiling stood out to me. Everything is so stately and formal with classic design or symmetry and then those big pipes are kind-of jarring. What are they for? Heating and cooling or some kind of communication system?
Oh yes, they are probably like that also because the building would be listed and that may have been the only way to get air conditioning and heating in there. Though those spaces are rarely seen by the public. I went on a special tour and got to see all that. Thank you Donna.
I’ve never seen the inside of it, this is a cool view
It is quite an amazing building, built with money from the gold rush. Thank you Beth.
Wonderful photos! Thank you for sharing them with us.
Thank you Julie, and you’re welcome.
That is a lovely tour! And timely with government being such a big topic in the news lately. Have a wonderful rest of your day!
Oh yes, we had it great for a long way, I hope it isn’t all gone. Thank you so much.
🥰, wow. So very impressive. This is all incredible photography. Kudos
Thank you Ted, not bad as I had no tripod and I was on a tour, I was pretty happy with what I got.
