Silent Sunday: Wide Cityscape

An early morning trip into the city yesterday and I was experimenting with the 14-24mm for some long exposures. It was different and not what I usually use, but I think there is going to be a lot more with it.

This is one of the city. It was taken from across the river looking back to the city. The Queen Street bridge is my leading line. Great old bridge, though it could do with a clean, maybe a new coat of paint, City of Melbourne if you are listening.

My processing is still in development. I think it will be for the rest of my life. I find I am always trying new things and no single image is done the same as any before. That is the way it should be, always trying new things, always experimenting. It would get too boring otherwise.

Enjoy your Sunday, I hope you are doing something interesting and amazing.

  1. Leanne, another super shot. Is their a reason you didn’t adjust for the lens distortion to make the building vertical?

    1. Thank you Don, I did adjust it quite a bit, but didn’t want to go too far. I also don’t believe that every has to be exact, you know what I’m like, lol
