Welcome back and happy new year as I start back with some still life for Monochrome Madness. I have had a great break and it is nice to get back into it.
Making changes is something I’m doing a lot right now and part of it could be because middle age sets in, or there could be other reasons, who knows.
This is something that I find really important and I am always experimenting with different types of photography. Astrophotography is one of them.
Today I wanted to show you a photo of a lily that I have been experimenting with. I’ve been playing around with my textures quite a bit.
While going through Instagram the other day a photo inspired me to look at my photos of the Flatiron building in New York for Monochrome Wednesday. I found one that I thought might work.
When trying to think about what to do for Monochrome Wednesday I thought it would be nice to see what that tree would like in black and white. I know I’ve shown a lot of photos of the tree, but I really wanted to see what it would be like.
Today I thought it might be interesting to look at some images. It is something I have missed doing. I hope you have missed them as well. Today we are going to look at two new images. I’ve been exploring some of my Melbourne images and seeing what experiments I can do with them.
It seems like everyone is doing this, so why should I. So today for Weekend Wanderings I am going to be talking to you about having a go at Podcasting.
This week has been strange and while I have been out many times to take photos, it hasn’t been the usual sort that I normally do. So, today for The Weekend Wanderings post I thought I would do one on the experimenting I’ve been doing with time-lapse photography.
An early morning trip into the city yesterday and I was experimenting with the 14-24mm for some long exposures. It was different and not what I usually use, but I think there is going to be a lot more with it.
