Trees in infrared from a park nearby

I was looking through my archives to see if I could find something to either process or show again. So today I have both.

Last week, was it last week we discussed if I should take my infrared camera with me? Most of you said yes, so I will be packing it.  My friend said I can take it but I can’t use it for all my photography. Fair statement really.

I thought it would be nice to show some other infrared images that I have taken. These were taken in a local park. Well not a park that is close to me but part of the area I live in. I love the really big old tree.

These images really show me how good infrared photography can be. I hope you enjoy them.

  1. These images are fantastic – what processing steps did you use to get these outcomes?

  2. So you used your infrared camera during the daytime to get this amazing shot. Talk about eerie. It looks like a book cover. I love it!

    1. Yeah, during the day, it reacts to things in a weird way, I love how it sort of makes it look like a winter scene. Thank you Marsha.

    2. Yes, it does. I’m going to try to publish a book of poetry by the end of the year. How much would you charge to design me a cover using one of your photos? It’s not going to be eerie, but I do love your dramatic style. 🙂
