A quick one today, just the yellow flower taken with my D850 and the Lensbaby Velvet 85. It is in my garden, but I have no idea what it is.

If you’re really interested, this is probably the “go to” book for our region / probably good for most of the rest of Victoria too (copy link into browser: http://www.publish.csiro.au/book/7376). It’s on the expensive side but excellent. This is more of a text book rather than a coffee table book though, so it’s not necessarily light reading.
I might have to take a look Craig, thank you.
So pretty.
Thank you Naomi
Looks to me like a Daisy of some description or possibly a Ranunculus.
It is a Ranunculus, I know what they look like, it is a daisy of some sort, but not exactly. I should know what they are, but I have to see if I can work it out.
I hate when that happens. I’ve taken hundreds of photos of flowers, and I can’t ever figure what they are. I mean, unless they’re a rose or an iris.
Haha, I am slowly starting to learn what some of them are, I can tell the more popular ones, but others, well, I am the same, no idea. I just love photographing them. Thanks Ry.
