Cranbourne Botanical Gardens – Native Flowers
A couple of weeks ago a friend took me to the Cranbourne Botanical Gardens that feature many Australian Native flowers. It is a great place to see many.

It is time and I have decided that I am getting some macro flowers printed to replace some images in a local cafe, Four Leaves.
While looking for images for Monochrome Wednesday I was reminded of some photos I took earlier this month on a gorgeous morning at Docklands.
Just a quick post today and thought I would show you one of the images from the Quarantine Station which I did a bit more work on.
We learn from so many people and photographers from the past are just some of the artists we can learn so much from. Two Americans and one European.
So yesterday I was out all day taking photos and somehow we found ourselves ending up the quarantine station at Nepean Point near Portsea.
I’ve tried growing these before, but I’m very happy that my asters are finally flowering and thought one would be good for Floral Friday.
Today I am reposting an old post from a few years ago about Environmental Photography. This is a subject that I am very passionate about.
For Monochrome Wednesday I thought I would try converting a sunrise taken in the city a week or so back.
Yesterday we looked at some videos on the impact of tourism, so today I thought we could look at 7 tips for photographing around home. This is a topic I’m actually really passionate about.
More videos today, but instead of showing other photographers, I thought we might look at the impact of tourism. It is something that really concerns me.
As I said yesterday I am going to show you more photos of Alowyn Gardens where springtime has emerged. It is probably one of the best times of the year there.
I know I said that I would do Floral Friday images from my garden, but it has to be said that Alowyn Gardens is like my second garden.
Last week I promised you a tutorial on how sending trees skyward, and I am keeping that promise. I have prepared this for you to do it yourself.
It was back to those honeycomb rocks today for my Monochrome Wednesday images. I really like ocean views in monochrome.
This is a question I’ve been asking myself a bit lately, when is enough enough with post processing? How do you know when to stop?
Today I thought we could look at three iconic women photographers, Annie Leibovitz, Diane Arbus and Vivian Maier. They are three women who most photographers recognise, yet they all have very different stories.
Remembering Cradle Mountain for Silent Sunday makes me think about my trip there over 3 years ago. It was the first day of my trip with my friend Sandra.
On my last trip up in the Mallee I went to see my friend Jocelyn who took me to the Kow Plains Homestead. A place I had heard about but not visited.
Today is a quick post and I’m just going to post a few more photos from mum’s garden and take off.
