Floral Friday – Exploring the garden with the infrared camera

I’m still working on the garden, but have to admit the watering is going a lot better and I’m feeling more confident. Sadly many seeds I planted have done nothing and I’m starting to think you need to get them from good places, so I need to work on that more.

This morning I headed out to the garden this morning with my infrared camera. I love seeing the garden through that camera. I always think that black and white flowers are better if the flowers are white, and with IR they always are.

Here is a selection that I took today.

  1. Nice! You know that I love your infrared images, Leanne. I hope you can get things to grow, I don’t have that Green Thumb at all.

    1. Thank you John, yeah I know, which is great. I will, I’m learning a lot about gardening, so it will come with time. I used to think I didn’t have one, but I love gardening now.

  2. THe photo of the three flowers….are those peonies? They are so pretty. I do like these with the IR camera. Gives them a totally different look–in a good way!

    1. They are roses, I haven’t had any luck with peonies so I picked roses that were like them. I love IR images, I’m getting addicted. I agree, they are very different. Thank you Lois.
