Going through my photos from around Uluru

While I’ve been trying to take a lot more videos when I go out on my excursions sometimes I forget about photos that I have from previous ones. I know I have done videos of my trip to Central Australia before, but I thought it might be nice to do one just of the photos I took.

I went through my folders and found a collection of images I took on the way to Uluru and some from my time there.

I’m sure many of you have seen the images from my trip, but I like this way of presenting them. My friend, who I travelled with, makes books of her images, but I like to be able to share them.

I hope you will enjoy this video.

  1. bravo, fresh images of a place where clichΓ© images abound — e.g. Uluru at dusk not dawn, and that shot, at 7:41 of the airplane tail! — Q: have they finally forbidden walking on Uluru? when I was there, a decade-plus ago, people were asked not to climb, but still allowed to do so and unfortunately many went right ahead…

    1. Thank you Penny, it was nice looking at the photos again. I like that airplane tail too.
Yes, it is now forbidden to climb it. They have removed the fence like thing that helped people get up there. They have also done stuff at the bottom so you can’t even get close to where they used to climb.

  3. Slow panning and zooming is a gr8 way to present these splendid photos.

Uluru is one of many places I did not visit before I had to give up travel, but watching the video is enough. Thank you.

    1. Thank you, I like that it almost makes them look like they are moving.
It is quite an amazing place and I’m glad I did get there, like to live here.
