Minimalism from the garden in black and white for Lens-Artists Challenge #381

Minimalism is something I really like, though I often find it hard to photograph. When I saw that Ritva had set us the challenge of Minimalism and in Black and White, I knew what I wanted to do.

I have some new flowers in the garden and some carrot flowers, so I used this challenge to take some photos of them.

The first one is new to my garden. It is a sneezeweed, not its official name. I have had a yellow one before, but this one is new.

I have had echinacea plants in my garden for years, but I have been trying to get some white ones and I finally did.

My red dahlia is always great to photograph.

I found this on the ground out the back. It is from a carrot and has dried out quite a bit.

I will put them into a gallery at the end of the post.

Thank you to Ritva for being our host, and I hope you will go and see her post on her blog Ritva Sillanmäki Photography.
