Photo Challenge 7 – WILDLIFE
Well, I’m embarrassed to say that I forgot to post about the photo challenge yesterday. It is photo challenge number 7 and I was so carried away with other things yesterday that I didn’t let you guys know that it is Wildlife this week.
Review – Tamron 100-400mm lens
Taking photos with a telephoto lens usually means compromises. They are often too heavy to just hand hold and you have to use a monopod or tripod. They can come with a very expensive price tag which makes them out of the range of most people. Tamron have come up with a compromise.
Weekend Wandering – Moonlit Sanctuary
There hasn’t been a Weekend Wandering post for quite a while, but yesterday I went to Moonlit Sanctuary in Pearcedale. It was my first visit and I suspect I will be back. Seemed like a good place to do a Weekend Wandering article for.
Using the Tamron 150-600mm lens at Melbourne Zoo
Had to give the Tamron 24-70mm G2 lens back and in place of it I was loaned the 150-600mm G2 lens to try out. The Melbourne Zoo seemed like a great place to try it out and see how it would go.
A Trip to Melbourne Zoo
Last weekend I was teaching a One on One at the Melbourne Zoo. It was the first time I have done one there, but I hope it isn’t the last. It was nice to wonder around and help someone learn how to use their camera.
