I have been loaned the Fujifilm XF80mmF2.8 R LM OIS WR Macro lens again, but this time I am trying to decide if I really want it.
It has been a while since I posted for Monochrome Madness and I just got the Fujifilm macro lens which I’ve been playing with.
When I went to New Zealand I knew that when I came back I would be considering making the conversion from Nikon to FUJIFILM. It now seems that will be happening.
Today I wanted to share with you some photos I got when playing around the camera for Silent Sunday. They are ones from New Zealand.
Who would ever have predicted that me and public speaking would work? Getting up in front of people and talking, really. I can’t believe how easy I find it.
A couple of weeks ago I did a post on the Fujifilm X-T3 camera, but while I was using it I was also trying out their lenses for my trip to New Zealand. When it was organised, I asked if I could borrow 3 lenses from Fujifilm Australia to use.
Recently I was holidaying around the South Island of New Zealand with the X-T3 from Fujifilm. It was great having it with me and seeing what I could do with it.
Really, today was all about trees and towns for day 4 of our New Zealand Wanderings. We photographed many trees, one much more special, but lots of others as well. Plus we went to a small town to check it out.
Last night we were fairly certain that our lake cruise for day 2 of our New Zealand Wanderings would be cancelled because of the weather. For day 2 we had a boat cruise and a helicopter flight over the glaciers booked.
Today was really day 1 of our New Zealand Wanderings and we attempted to do some photography through Arthur’s Pass. We have ended the day at Hokitika and are feeling okay, maybe a little disappointed, but not much you can do sometimes.
