Floral Friday – Tinkled pink in the garden

I’ve had one of those days, you know the ones where you feel like you are chasing your tail but you never get it. It has been a day that’s for sure. I’m so far behind on everything to do with my blog, but there is tomorrow.

I did get out in the garden the other day with the camera. The garden is starting to shut down for winter now, sadly. The temperatures aren’t as high either which I am loving. I think tomorrow is our first day over 30C for about a week, so we are definitely heading into autumn and the leaves will start changing soon.

I have done three images for you today. Not the best flowers, but it is getting harder and harder to find good ones. The chrysanthemums should flower soon, so that will be good.

Take care.

  1. These are so beautiful. Funny I had the same kind of day. At one point I actually visualized myself as a dog chasing its tail. 🙂

  2. It sounds like you’ve had one of those hectic days where nothing seems to go right, but I’m glad you took some time to escape to the garden. It’s always refreshing to capture those little moments, even if the flowers aren’t in full bloom right now. I can imagine the transition from the heat of summer to the cooler autumn days must be a welcome change. It’s nice to hear that the chrysanthemums will be blooming soon – they’re always such a beautiful touch to any garden! I hope tomorrow brings a little more peace and productivity your way. Take care, and keep sharing those lovely moments from your garden – even the little things are worth celebrating!

    1. It wasn’t that nothing was going right it was just so busy, I don’t have days like that often. I am certainly enjoying the cooler temperatures, certainly over the hot weather. I can’t wait for those flowers, I planted a heap last year and only lost one, so I’m looking forward to seeing what they give me this year. Thank you so much Myrela, it has been good.

    1. It looks like an alien being that flower. 🫣..who me with an overactive imagination ?

  3. They are beautiful and beautiful tones you captured. I loved them dear Leanne, Thank you, Love, nia
