that’s amazing! my grandfather used to grow them in his garden and they were huge and so beautiful
Thank you Beth, apparently my grandfather grew them as well. I don’t remember, but my mother remembers them from when she was growing up.
I’m beginning to understand why so many of my favourite bloggers like dahlias. I’d always associated them with little old ladies, and found them waxy looking and sort of plasticky. Dahlias have come on a bit since I formed that judgment back in my teens!
Hahaha, I think dahlias are making a come back Margaret, they are so beautiful and there are so many different ones. I think you need to take another look, I love them. lol Thank you Margaret.
