Yesterday morning was a very early rise so I could be in Mentone before sunrise. There is an old pier there that so many people photograph to do long exposures and I had never captured it. It seemed like a good subject for my last outing with the Tamron 24-70mm G2 before it went back […]
Catching Up in the new year
So not exactly the new year, but still fairly close. Time to take a look at what I’ve been doing and what’s coming up.
Catching Up on this week.
As you may have guessed, Facebook is taking up a lot of my time still. Things are starting to move there, which is good, but I’m finding myself quite addicted to watching it grow.
A bit of a catch up
It has been a busy week and the rest of it looks like it is going to be even busier. That isn’t a bad thing, but it does make me feel like I’m chasing my tail, well if I had one. Still some plans are being made.

The weekend so far
It is Sunday morning here and I’m sitting here listening to the sounds of our roof being replaced. With all the rain we’ve been having the guys replacing the roof decided to make the most of the good weather and do it over the weekend. More rain is predicted next week so it is probably […]
A quick catch up
This has to be quick, a million things to get done, but really not a lot to report.
Catch up on ANZAC day
It is ANZAC day here, our memorial day, I guess you would say. It is the anniversary of one of Australia’s biggest battles in the first world war. It was started for that battle, but also a day to remember all the men and women who lost their lives during all the wars we’ve been […]
