This morning I was looking for a photo to do for Monochrome Madness and then I found a lake that was photographed with the infrared camera.
That was it, a day out with 3 other lovely ladies, friends to go on an outing, but it wasn’t quite the day we had planned, though seemed like a good one for Weekend Wanderings.
I found myself teaching in the city this morning. It is funny how I thought my days of teaching were over. People seem to keep finding me.
Yesterday I wandered around the streets of Melbourne with a visitor from overseas and it seemed like a good idea to use the photos for a Weekend Wanderings post. Every now and then I am contacted by people who know me through the internet and then want to meet me when they come here.
It has been an interesting week, of course the arrival of the Nikon D850 has made it that more exciting.

There is nothing like watching the sun gone down on a city and then all the lights coming on. Melbourne is no different in that respect. One of the best places to watch it happening is along the river.
