Silent Sunday – Looking back on a composite image
Today we are looking back at an image that I composited in 2019. If you want to see how it progressed here is the original post, click here. Also, the flowers that were in the […]

Today I thought I might try converting an image that I had already processed in colour. Though I have just discovered that I have already processed it once, but this conversion is different, I think. […]
This was really the last evening of photography on our trip to Central Australia. While the next morning we left Coober Pedy and then headed home, we still had one more night near Adelaide, but […]
We have almost come to the end of my trip to the Northern Territory. Today I have the last of the photos from the last day there. Though I still have more photos, but not […]
The last big day of driving before finally getting to see Uluru, the big rock we had travelled so far to see. Out of all the days we had travelled so far this was to […]
I am calling this edition of Monochrome Madness Forbidden Places because everywhere is forbidden to me right now unless it is within 5 kilometres of my home.
Well not really back to Tasmania, but back to the photos I took while there two years ago and I found one I thought I could use for Monochrome Madness.
As Melbourne is shrouded in smoke I thought it would be nice to do a post about remembering stormy skies for Monochrome Madness.

Cape Schanck is one of those places I’ve been to many times, but never at sunrise, however it is always a good place for weekend wanderings. A few years ago I spent the weekend in Sorrento with […]
More trees on rocks from my time in Tasmania. This is also from Binalong Bay and was taken on the same morning as the other image I took of the first tree on a rock. […]
It has been almost a week since I got back from Tasmania and I have landed back in Victoria running. I’m trying to finish a photography job I have for the local council and I’m […]
Before we left for Tasmania we knew we had two days to spend in Port Arthur. We had planned all along to go to the Port Arthur Historical Site, but that still left a day […]
One of the main reasons I wanted to come to the east coast of Tasmania was to photograph a tree on a rock, seriously. There is a tree that grows from a rock in Binalong […]
Tasmania has been beautiful, unfortunately. I know that is a strange thing to say, but it is true. There have been almost no clouds and it has been driving me mad. We have been seeing […]
