Since my big news yesterday I thought it might be good to show some flowers that were taken with the X-T3 for Floral Friday.
In my ramble yesterday I talked about visiting Healesville, I didn’t do any macro, but thought it might be nice to look at some I got a while back for Floral Friday.
To say it is getting crazy would be an understatement and so I thought a short post today with a flower for you to see. I photographed it in my garden.
If you love dahlias, then you would love to do some weekend wanderings around Country Dahlias in Winchelsea. It is quite an amazing place.
It is now March and for me, that means it is the lead up to the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show. I have been going for a few years now. It is always a fantastic event and if you like photographing flowers, it is heaven.
This post was first written May 2015. It was interesting to go back to the original and see how much as changed. I have to say not a lot. I have updated it in a few places, but these are still the pieces of kit I can’t live without.
Yesterday, I had a trip to Alowyn Gardens. I think it is one of the best places to test lenses for macro photography. Right now there are flowers everywhere. It was fantastic to see it all.

It has been a couple of weeks since I did one of these. It is nice to get back into it and I loved finding so many flowers in my garden when I got home. I haven’t had a chance to get out to them to take photos, but will soon.
It has been raining here quite a bit and the flowers in the garden are suffering from it a bit. They seem a bit soaked, or drenched, not sure. It is also nice to see that many things are starting to flower. I planted quite a few bulbs, so I’m looking forward to them flowering. […]
