Weekend Wanderings – Blue Lotus Water Gardens
It has been a while since I did a Weekend Wanderings post and since I went to the Blue Lotus Water Gardens last weekend it seemed like a good move to show some photos today.
It has been a while since I did a Weekend Wanderings post and since I went to the Blue Lotus Water Gardens last weekend it seemed like a good move to show some photos today.
It is that time of the year and a lotus flower seemed like a good idea for Monochrome Madness this week. They are so beautiful and in monochrome also good.
I know, I’m a day late with Monochrome Madness, but yesterday I was busy getting this image of the city with clouds over it.
As Melbourne is shrouded in smoke I thought it would be nice to do a post about remembering stormy skies for Monochrome Madness.
It has rolled around again, Monochrome Madness, and today I’ve converted an image from an early morning along the river here in Melbourne.
Clifton Springs is a place that has these pylons from a pier and they are always good so it seemed like a good choice for Monochrome Madness.
Yesterday I did one of the Manchester Unity Building (MUB) that I thought was boring, but for Monochrome Wednesday I have one that I think works a lot better.
Really, there is an image I took on Sunday morning and since then I’ve been trying to figure what is wrong with it. I’ve tried a few things.
For Silent Sunday I thought I would show you some new photos taking early morning in the City of Melbourne. I was also using my new lens.
For Floral Friday I headed out to my garden with the macro lens from Struman Optics to take photos in it. I have a class coming up that is teaching people about using their phones […]
I thought today I would just do a quick post and show you another photo from Princes Pier. I have got some great shots from there recently.
It was into the archives for Monochrome Wednesday today and after searching through heaps of files I found one taken at Turpin Falls in 2016.
The other morning I went to Princes Pier, revisiting it again and I thought it might be a good topic for Silent Sunday.
Just a quick post today and thought I would show you one of the images from the Quarantine Station which I did a bit more work on.
So yesterday I was out all day taking photos and somehow we found ourselves ending up the quarantine station at Nepean Point near Portsea.
As I said yesterday I am going to show you more photos of Alowyn Gardens where springtime has emerged. It is probably one of the best times of the year there.
I know I said that I would do Floral Friday images from my garden, but it has to be said that Alowyn Gardens is like my second garden.
It was back to those honeycomb rocks today for my Monochrome Wednesday images. I really like ocean views in monochrome.
On my last trip up in the Mallee I went to see my friend Jocelyn who took me to the Kow Plains Homestead. A place I had heard about but not visited.
It was back to some photos taken up in the Mallee for Monochrome Wednesday this week and I have converted one of the images of a salt lake.
