It has rolled around again, Monochrome Madness, and today I’ve converted an image from an early morning along the river here in Melbourne.
I’m being lazy today, sorry, but with Christmas, just over a week away, I thought you would be okay if I showed you some videos from my favourite people on YouTube.
Still not a lot in my garden, but my cactus is flowering and I thought it would be nice to show it to you for Floral Friday.
Clifton Springs is a place that has these pylons from a pier and they are always good so it seemed like a good choice for Monochrome Madness.
Summer is not a great time for the type of photography that I like doing, so it is important that I start making plans for that time and beyond.
It is often the case with these posts that I don’t know what I will show you until I am watching YouTube and today I am taking a look back on Australian Photography.
Some of my native flower images have been made into jigsaws and I thought Silent Sunday would be a good opportunity to let you know.
Last week I took the Lensbaby Velvet 56 to Alowyn Gardens to get flowers with it and I thought it would be a good post for Floral Friday.

Making changes is something I’m doing a lot right now and part of it could be because middle age sets in, or there could be other reasons, who knows.
Back to my Monday videos and today we are looking at photographers who do fine art portraits, but they also discuss their workflows. Well they talk about why they do.
Every Saturday on my Facebook page we do a photo challenge and I’ve been thinking we should do it as well, so for 19_47 it is BEACHES.
Recently I bought some lilies to put in a vase on my dining room table and then I took some photos of them for Floral Friday.
Today I have a video for you about Straight Talk about Instagram for photographers. We hear so much about what we can do, but does it work?
Getting out to take photos has been hard, but this one from Princes Pier looked like a good choice for Monochrome Wednesday.
I have been a bit MIA in the last few days. I have to admit social media just wasn’t in the plan. So much has been happening, so I want to catch you up.
It is a sad day in our house today and I’m sorry to say there will be no flowers. We were given bad news about Tiddles today.
Yesterday I did one of the Manchester Unity Building (MUB) that I thought was boring, but for Monochrome Wednesday I have one that I think works a lot better.
Really, there is an image I took on Sunday morning and since then I’ve been trying to figure what is wrong with it. I’ve tried a few things.
