For Weekend Wanderings today I thought I would show you more of the infrared images I took in the park earlier this week. It was nice getting out with that camera again.

It was good to see you enjoying Floral Friday last week with my mum’s garden, so I thought I would show it again. This time it was just after the rain.
The other day I finally took the infrared camera out for a walk in the park and thought one of the images would be good for Monochrome Wednesday.
Today I thought taking another look at Rick Amor might be great. He is one of my favourite artists and I love looking at his work.
Winter is a hard time for macro photography so I thought it might be nice take a look at some photos I took of Mum’s garden for Floral Friday.
This post was planned when I was still travelling around New Zealand and I thought it would be a good way to round-up the trip. See the highs and lows, so to speak.
Well, it is time for Monochrome Wednesday yet again and I thought it might be nice to show you my favourite view of Melbourne. It isn’t surprising. No, not really.
It has been one of those weeks, so I thought for Weekend Wanderings I would repost the one I did of Docklands through a fisheye. Sometimes it is hard to get out.

This morning I ran a macro class at Alowyn Gardens and once it was done I took some photos for Weekend Wanderings of the place through the Holga Lens.
The other day I found myself photographing a bridge with a fisheye lens. Actually, I was doing it with two, one on the camera, and one on my phone.
On Thursday I went to Warneet with my friend Chris to be there at low tide and I thought it would make a good place for Weekend Wanderings. We tried it once before, but the […]
Yesterday I ran a macro photography class at Alowyn Gardens. Seems I can’t get away from teaching and I’m planning on doing more.
Yesterday the plane touched down in Melbourne bringing me back home and now my New Zealand Wanderings are over. It was an incredible journey and now I’m left with just memories, plus a few thousand […]
Weekend Wanderings is about the Australian Gardens that are in Cranbourne. They are also the Australian Botanical Gardens and showcase many of the native plants that you find here.
Photographing around home has to be a good thing and for me that includes a place called Banyule Flats. It is a quick walk away from me.
Last week I mentioned Dahlias and this week I wanted to tell you about the 2nd flower that is a favourite of mine, chrysanthemums. Every time I think of them I remember that scene from […]
If you love dahlias, then you would love to do some weekend wanderings around Country Dahlias in Winchelsea. It is quite an amazing place.
When you love macro photography, especially when photographing flowers we get ones that we love or become our favourite. For me, mine would have to be dahlias.
