Taking another look at Rick Amor
Today I thought taking another look at Rick Amor might be great. He is one of my favourite artists and I love looking at his work.

This post was planned when I was still travelling around New Zealand and I thought it would be a good way to round-up the trip. See the highs and lows, so to speak.
Well, it is time for Monochrome Wednesday yet again and I thought it might be nice to show you my favourite view of Melbourne. It isn’t surprising. No, not really.
It has been one of those weeks, so I thought for Weekend Wanderings I would repost the one I did of Docklands through a fisheye. Sometimes it is hard to get out.
I found myself teaching in the city this morning. It is funny how I thought my days of teaching were over. People seem to keep finding me.
A couple of weeks ago I took some photos of overhead bridges in the city and thought one would be a good image for Monochrome Wednesday today.
One of the great things from the trip to New Zealand was I got my mojo back and it has been good to get back to the city for some photography. The city is one […]
The other day I found myself photographing a bridge with a fisheye lens. Actually, I was doing it with two, one on the camera, and one on my phone.
Yesterday I wandered around the streets of Melbourne with a visitor from overseas and it seemed like a good idea to use the photos for a Weekend Wanderings post. Every now and then I am […]

Another part of the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show (MIFGS) are all the display gardens. There are quite a few and it is lovely to look at them and dream about having something like […]
One of the things that I love about visiting the MIFGS each year is catching up with the Struman Optics team and their lenses. This year I’ve been playing with a new macro lens for […]
Yesterday was the first day of the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show and opening day was massive. There were so many people there.
The Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show for 2019 starts tomorrow, so I thought it might be nice to look back on some photos from last year.
After yesterday’s post it seemed like a nice idea to show you a flower from my garden. This is one of my dahlias. It is growing well.
