Springtime in my garden
The last few days I’ve been out in my garden weeding, so too tired, but here is a touch of springtime. The flowers are starting to come out.

It’s been a while since I did a Floral Friday post and it seemed like a good idea to look at raindrops on petals. Some photos I took earlier in the year.
There is a good reason why floral Friday is late, and that would be that I don’t have a lot of access to my computer at the moment.
We have put ourselves in self-isolation so for monochrome madness I have done a dahlia in black and white. It was a quick process.
Yes, that’s right Floral Friday is very late, but not cancelled, unlike many other events around Australia at the moment. For me, the worst one is the flower and garden show.
Now that I have the Fujifilm X-T3 I find I’m limited when it comes to macro, but I did get the Lensbaby Velvet 56 for it and the photos for Floral Friday were taken with […]
It is getting bad here as I am doing my floral Friday post on a Saturday. I’m getting so involved in my house and kitchen so much that I’m not finding a lot of time […]
While my dahlias are going well there are new flowers in the garden and I thought I would share them with you today for Floral Friday. Two are new and one is just reflowering.
For floral Friday I wanted to you some more dahlias from my garden that have started flowering. There are 12 plants and now 5 of them are flowering.
It has been a while since I did a Weekend Wanderings post and since I went to the Blue Lotus Water Gardens last weekend it seemed like a good move to show some photos today.
It is that time of the year and a lotus flower seemed like a good idea for Monochrome Madness this week. They are so beautiful and in monochrome also good.
My garden has it’s first dahlia flowering and I thought I would share it with you for Floral Friday. I am really looking forward to seeing more in the months to come.
Floral Friday is hard to do at the moment as the weather has played havoc, but I thought I would try and show the garden today.
Last week I took the Lensbaby Velvet 56 to Alowyn Gardens to get flowers with it and I thought it would be a good post for Floral Friday.
Recently I bought some lilies to put in a vase on my dining room table and then I took some photos of them for Floral Friday.
For Floral Friday I headed out to my garden with the macro lens from Struman Optics to take photos in it. I have a class coming up that is teaching people about using their phones […]
We haven’t been to my garden for floral Friday for a while and I thought it might be nice to get back into it. Still, not a lot going on.
A couple of weeks ago a friend took me to the Cranbourne Botanical Gardens that feature many Australian Native flowers. It is a great place to see many.
As I said yesterday I am going to show you more photos of Alowyn Gardens where springtime has emerged. It is probably one of the best times of the year there.
I know I said that I would do Floral Friday images from my garden, but it has to be said that Alowyn Gardens is like my second garden.
