While looking through my archives for an image to do today I found one that was an abstract and it seemed like a good one to try for Monochrome Wednesday.
The Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show for 2019 starts tomorrow, so I thought it might be nice to look back on some photos from last year.
Throughout any artists career there are artists that influence them, and then as time moves on that can shift. Giorgio Morandi is one of those artists and is a good artist to look at for […]
When I look back on my trip to the USA in 2015 there are some places that really stand out. So today for my silent Sunday post I thought I would post some photos of […]
Sometimes you have to know when it is the right time to visit places. It seems for this Weekend Wanderings post my recent visit to the Blue Lotus Water Gardens was a bust as it […]
This is a repost of sorts, though more a redo. Today’s U4D post was written a few years ago, when people wanted more information on how to do images in monochrome. I have redone it […]
Getting images made into a jigsaw is great, especially if you like jigsaw puzzles. To see your images in pieces is extraordinary and something I’ve wanted to do for some time.
It is Wednesday again and I have another monochrome image for you. It is a Lighthouse. I love lighthouses and I know I’m not alone in that.

There are some things that are great to bring back from my old blogging days and Monochrome on a Wednesday is definitely one of them. This week I thought I would try a water lily.
There are going to be a few reposts of images over the coming weeks as I find my feet again. Today I thought we could look at the evolution of an image and one that […]
Leading on from the post yesterday it seemed like a good idea to take a look at Jeffrey Smart for my Influencing Me post today. His work reminds of me of what I want to […]
A quiet day today and just one photo for you. For my silent Sunday post, I wanted to show you a view of Melbourne that I really like.
The weather has been horrible for getting out to take photos. Not really wanting to get out hasn’t helped. Today it seemed like a good idea to try reposting something from the past. Remembering the […]
